The long-awaited Destron joins the virtual reissue Missing Link series that imagines what may have existed in that era, introducing Information Strategist Soundwave (Anime Type).

Soundwave transforms into a stereo cassette and deploys cassette troops from his chest, making him one of the series' most popular characters.

Recreated in the same size and G1 Format and using zinc alloy parts in places, this Missing Link revival features articulated joints for dynamic posing, a new transformation mode, and deluxe accessories.

Included with the Anime Type is a newly designed Cassetteron Condor Cybertron Mode (Anime Type), the first G1 Format figure of this cassette character.

Condor first appeared in episode 1 "The Road to Earth" of the anime Fight!

Super Robot Lifeform Transformers and depicts his Cybertron appearance; although never produced in G1 Format before, this Missing Link release adds a new cassette to the Cassetteron lineup.

Soundwave (Anime Type) realizes in three dimensions the mechanical sculpting that was originally represented flat by stickers, and comes with optional foil stickers.

A redesigned joint system allows dramatic action poses such as kneeling on one knee and the eject pose, and the figure also converts into the Light Standard Mode seen in episode 1, appearing like a Cybertron streetlight to deceive the Autobots.

Accessories include the Electric Launcher, Vibration Blaster Gun, Barrier Case, and the Headphones, Command Microphone, and Cord characteristic of the domestic release, with some color changes from D-01 Soundwave (sold separately).

The headphones are for display and actual headwear is not recommended.

Both Soundwave (Anime Type) and Condor Cybertron Mode (Anime Type) feature a Secret Emblem that reveals the faction mark when warmed by a finger, and each has a joint hole for an optional stand (sold separately) for action pose displays.

The package illustration is newly drawn with a period-inspired design, and a collection card is included.
