The T-54 is a Soviet medium tank developed after World War II. It was adopted under the official designation "Medium Tank T-54" in 1946 and the mass-production model was completed in 1947. The T-54B, officially adopted in 1956, is a T-54 variant that added a gun stabilization system and was fitted with the D-10T2S main gun equipped with a fume extractor. Improvements introduced from the T-54B onward included the introduction of night vision equipment, standardization of fording equipment, and the addition of external fuel tanks. These changes increased fuel capacity to 1,212 liters and extended operational range to approximately 430 km. Key features
