About the USRA 0-6-0:
The USRA 0-6-0 was a standard steam locomotive designed under the supervision of the United States Railroad Administration (USRA).
It was the standard light switcher among the USRA standard steam locomotive designs. A total of 255 USRA 0-6-0 locomotives were built by ALCO during the USRA administration period and were operated by a wide variety of railroad companies.
The prototype was paired with several different tender designs throughout its service life. This model faithfully reproduces the standard tender configuration used when the locomotive first entered service.
