Tomix 97618 JR Series 205 Commuter Train (Yokohama Line - Newly Manufactured Cars) 8 Cars Set (N scale)

The 205 series trains on the Yokohama Line debuted in 1988. These trains introduced new destination indicators and enlarged door windows, creating a more open and spacious interior. Line identification changed from a single color to two-color tape in yellow-green and green, improving line recognition and helping establish distinct line images used across other lines. In 1994 the SAHA 204-100 six-door car was introduced and train formations increased from seven to eight cars. The successor E233-6000 series began to be introduced in 2014, and the 205 series was retired from the Yokohama Line that year.
